1974 On September 5th, Fred Lynn joins the Ranks of the Red Sox's and begans his Career that would span 17 years.
1975 Fred Lynn is selected for his first All-Star game.
1975 On June 18, 1975 night game in Detroit highlighted his magical season. Playing in hitter-friendly Tiger Stadium, Fred Lynn had what may be the single greatest game in baseball history. Lynn belted three home runs, a triple, and a single. He drove in a Sox record 10 runs and collected an American League record 16 total bases.
1975 Fred Lynn wins Rookie of the year honors
1975 Fred Lynn wins the American League MVP and becomes the first player in history to win both awards in the same year.
1976 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1976 All-Star game.
1977 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1977 All-Star game.
1978 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1978 All-Star game.
1979 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1979 All-Star game.
1979 Fred Lynn wins the American League Batting Title.
1980 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1980 All-Star game.
1981 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1981 All-Star game.
1982 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1982 All-Star game.
1983 Fred Lynn is selected for the 1983 All-Star game.  Fred Lynn hits a grand slam in the 13-4 American League route.   He is the only man in history to hit a grand slam in a All-Star game.
